Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for timely weekend deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
