Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Louisville metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Accurately document delivery logs and maintain regulatory paperwork
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route planning
- Communicate shipment status via electronic logging devices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisville metro area and surrounding regions
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional holiday shifts
