Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries throughout Nevada
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers on delivery status
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance policy for violations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work Saturday/Sunday shifts with flexible availability
- Proficient in route planning using GPS navigation systems
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling (HAZMAT endorsement preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
