Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within the Charlotte metro area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate in all weather conditions and navigate complex urban routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no DUI/DWI in past 5 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Charlotte area roads and regulations
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Strong customer service orientation
