Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within the Atlanta metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Support warehouse operations during loading/unloading as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Passing DOT physical and drug screening required
- Familiarity with Atlanta metro routes and traffic patterns
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and delivery software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday)
