Responsibilities
Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.Load and unload freight safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.Complete all necessary daily logs (DVIR) and paperwork accurately and on time.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.Maintain a clean and professional driving environment for passengers and cargo.Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.Must possess a clean driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screen.Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.Experience with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) is preferred but not required.Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
