Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles within Washington DC metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Navigate complex urban routes with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Represent Capital Fleet Solutions with professionalism at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC traffic patterns and regulations
- HazMat endorsement preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
