Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across Virginia Beach and surrounding regions
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Deliver freight on time while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance
- Operate in diverse weather conditions
- Support team goals through collaborative coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Virginia traffic laws and routes
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
