Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle safety.
- Load and unload cargo, securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and mileage logs.
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS and road maps to avoid delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience required.
- Current DOT medical card and physical certification.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
