Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Trucks/Tractor-Trailers) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding schedules and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Basic math skills for cargo weight and documentation.
- Willingness to undergo paid on-the-job training for candidates with no prior experience.
