Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) safely and efficiently throughout the Los Angeles area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Basic English proficiency for communication purposes.
