Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight throughout California
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with precision and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Complete all necessary paperwork and electronic logging systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and delivery routes
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning/late night shifts
