Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain FMCSA compliance
- Load/unload cargo with proper securement techniques
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS routing optimization
- Complete electronic logs and documentation accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina road systems
- Excellent time management and communication skills
