Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Load/unload freight safely and verify shipment documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding transit status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and East Coast corridors
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
