Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Fuel vehicle as needed and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (Commercial Class A preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
