Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across Florida routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Deliver freight to diverse locations including ports, distribution centers, and retail hubs
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining exceptional safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Florida CDL license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Florida's highway systems and local regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
