Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route adjustments
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delivery status and resolve issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- DOT medical certification and required training certifications
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screen clearance required
