Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Commercial Vehicles: Drive trucks in a safe, legal, and professional manner to deliver freight on time.
- Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load & Secure Cargo: Properly load trailers, ensuring cargo is balanced and securely fastened.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers at delivery points and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues to management immediately and perform routine vehicle cleaning.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License: Must be in good standing.
- Clean Driving Record: No major violations or accidents in the last 3 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Documentation: Current Medical Card, DOT Physical, and any required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, etc.).
- Availability: Must be available for long-haul and local routes as needed.
- Residency: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
