Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, or flatbed) across regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks per DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and weather conditions
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Represent SwiftHaul Logistics with professionalism and safety-first mindset
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and hazmat endorsement (preferred)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekends
