Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for long-haul and regional routes across the Pacific Northwest
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with GPS navigation optimization
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven experience with dry van and/or flatbed trailers
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts and variable routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
