Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within Jacksonville and surrounding regions
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Accurately maintain electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Handle loading/unloading operations with precision and care
- Adapt to dynamic schedules and urgent delivery requests
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
