Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely deliveries and route adjustments
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling during transit
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade and South Florida roadways
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time-management skills
