Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across Texas and Southwest states
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and documentation
- Handle freight loading/unloading with precision and care
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Southwest US routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
