Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods on time
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and maintain DOT-compliant logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Navigate Miami-Dade County routes efficiently using GPS technology
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Ensure cargo security and proper documentation for cross-border shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with Florida highway system and port operations
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
