Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods on designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and company policies
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Document all transportation activities and report incidents immediately
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route planning and timing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Georgia roadways and Southeast regional logistics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
