Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) certification preferred
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hazmat protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable hours
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology proficiency
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple equipment types
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
