Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and cargo securement.
- Must be willing to travel to New York and Ohio.
- Basic English reading and communication skills.
