Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (tractor-trailer) safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation according to DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight on time to customers in NY and CA.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Willingness to cross state lines (NY to CA routes).
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
