Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all shipments.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle cargo manually.
- Willingness to travel to North Carolina and surrounding areas.
