Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and security of the cargo and vehicle.
- Deliver freight to designated locations within the Miami metropolitan area and surrounding regions on time.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on schedule.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid US Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant) and CDL physical.
- Air brakes endorsement (if applicable) and any endorsements required for specific cargo.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no more than two preventable accidents in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
