Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A & B) in the Las Vegas valley and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload freight accurately using proper handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily electronic logs (ELD) and complete driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR) before each trip.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean, organized, and secure.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs within the last 5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and customer service.
