Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Navigate San Francisco traffic and geography, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Complete necessary paperwork and electronic logging device (ELD) updates accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Strong knowledge of local San Francisco roads and traffic patterns.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination with a satisfactory result.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
