Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods between San Francisco, CA and Texas
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and route optimization guidelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize electronic logging systems and telematics for efficient fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and substance screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for overnight trips and irregular schedules
