Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and dispatchers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and CDL physical.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for calculating loads and routes.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
