Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional routes
- Safely transport goods while adhering to DOT regulations
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Ensure proper cargo loading and securement
- Communicate with clients and team members professionally
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (required)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight Ohio routes (2-3 nights/week)
- Basic navigation and GPS proficiency
- Strong customer service orientation
