Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Inspect vehicles before/during/after trips to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Handle hazardous materials endorsements when required for specialized freight
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all FMCSA safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proven experience with multi-stop deliveries and route optimization
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips and irregular hours
- Texas residency or ability to relocate immediately
