Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods within assigned routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while meeting delivery deadlines
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain professional conduct and represent company brand positively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging device (ELD) use
