Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples are a plus).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, Reckless Driving) in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
