Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and minor vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Maintain professional communication with clients and team
- Support warehouse operations when required (loading/unloading)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metro area and Midwest routes
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities
