Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time tracking updates
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and rerouting needs
- Maintain clean driving record and report all incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
