Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across San Jose and Northern California routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision using manual labor and forklifts
- Adapt to dynamic schedules and optimize delivery routes for efficiency
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years experience preferred)
- Current medical certificate and DOT physical clearance
- Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain
- Proven experience with multi-stop deliveries and time-sensitive freight
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and Bay Area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
