Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for multi-state deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and time management
- Handle specialized freight including hazardous materials (Hazmat endorsement a plus)
- Maintain professional customer service during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and interstate regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
