Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) to transport goods on time
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs (e-tron compatible)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Team player with reliable attendance
- hazmat endorsement preferred
