Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within a 100-mile radius
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision using industry-standard equipment
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Kansas City metro roadways and infrastructure
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed transport preferred
