Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across Ohio regional routes
- Strict adherence to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Complete pre-trip inspections, trip planning, and electronic logging (ELD) compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch team
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Participate in continuous safety training and equipment maintenance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio roadways and weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
