Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently across the region.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and binders to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve delivery issues.
- Unload cargo at delivery locations and obtain necessary signatures for receipt.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Oklahoma.
- Current DOT Medical Card (medical certification).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of vehicle handling, cargo securement, and safety regulations.
