Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to deliver freight on time and in full.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo protection during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure accident-free operation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old for interstate driving.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for local commuting (if applicable) or housing assistance available.
