Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) for safe, timely deliveries across California and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with dispatch teams using GPS tracking systems for route optimization
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
- Document delivery paperwork and resolve discrepancies at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation apps
- Flexibility for overnight stays and irregular schedules
- HAZMAT or tanker endorsements preferred
