Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in varying weather conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and load handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
