Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while meeting delivery timelines and customer requirements
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and roadside assistance
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of hazardous materials (Hazmat) certification preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass mandatory background check
